On December 27, 2016, annual meeting of Nanhai Trademark Association was held at Huameida Hotel in the hometown of Huang Feihong, president of our agency, Yang Yonggang was invited to attend the meeting. With the theme on Wing Chun and Trademark, based Trademark case for the year of 2015 to 2016, the YEWEN opposition case, in combination of Wing Chun and skills of handling trademark cases, representing the Craftsman’s spirit of our agency, Yang Yonggang presents a refreshing and innovative training session and received many compliments. People’s Government of Nanhai District, Foshan City attended the meeting and delivered a speech.About 100 people attended the meeting, attendees include: Zhu Guangxiang, Director General of Administration of Industry and Commerce of Nanhai District, Yan Haihong, Deputy General of Administration of Industry and Commerce of Nanhai District, authorities from culture and technology departments, Standing Vice Chairman, Vice Chairman, Council member and members of the association.

On December 22-24,2016, China Trademark Association hosted seminar on the applicability of Trademark Law in Beijing. Chen Kui, Director General of General Affairs Division of CTO discussed the theme “Revision of Trademark Examination Standard” with attendees, Wang Jihong, Director General of Trial Division 3, TRAB discussed the theme “Interpretation of Hot-spot issue on Trademark Examination and Review-Regulatory of Unfair Registration in Trademark Review” with attendees, Yang Jianyu, Director General of Application Division discuss the theme “Main change in the 11th Nice Classification”with attendees, He Xuzhuo, Consultant of Trial Division 1, TRAB discussed the theme “Formality Examination on Trademark Review cases and Frequently Asked Questions”, Rui Songyan, judge of Beijing Intellectual Property Court discussed the theme “Judicial Review on the Grant and Validation of Trademark administrative Case” with attendees. More than 700 people attended the meeting and discussed on the trademark hot-spot issues. Attorney of our firm, Tian Yuan and Hou Wenfang attended the meeting.

December 20, 2016, under guidance of Office of Leading Group of the National Campaign Against IPR Infringements and Counterfeits, China Anti-Infringement and Anti-Counterfeit Innovation Strategic Alliance(CAASA) hosted seminar on “Annual Work Result Evaluation of CAASA & China Japan IP Protection Strategic Alliance” in Beijing. More than 300 people attended the meeting, attendees include: leaders of Office of Leading Group of the National Campaign Against IPR Infringements and Counterfeits, SAIC, AQSIQ, State General Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SGAPPRFT), State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C and other governmental authorities, experts of different industries, representatives from enterprises and legal service agencies. Dong Yunhai, Deputy Manager of our company attended the meeting.

In the afternoon of November 2016, co-hosted by the State Administration of Industry and Commerce of the P.R.C.(SAIC) and the Provincial People’s Government of Shanxi ,co-organized by China Trademark Association and Provincial Administration of Industry and Commerce of Shanxi, the 23rd China Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Fair -“Belt and Road” Summit on Trademark and Branding for Agricultural Product was hosted in Yangling. More than 500 people attended the meeting, including experts from China and abroad, academics, leaders from government departments, business elites. Liu Fang, Vice Chairman of Central Committee of The Revolutionary Committee Of The Chinese Kuomintang,Standing Members of CPPCC National Committee and Chairman of China Trademark Association, Feng Xinzhu, Deputy Provincial Governor of the Provincial People’s Government of Shanxi attended the meeting and gave special addresses. Deputy Director of State Service of Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Zhang Xiaoning, the Under-Secretary-General of the Provincial People’s Government of Shanxi, served as moderator of the meeting. At the award ceremony of Belt and Road Excellent Contribution for Trademark and Branding for Agricultural Product where the chairman of our agency Yang Yonggang served as one of the judges, 14 enterprises or individuals are awarded for their contribution , including Management Committee of Yangling Demonstration Zone, Liu Huaguo, Chairman of Xi’an Yinqiao Group, Apple Industry Association of Luochuan.

In the evening of October 30, 2016, closing ceremony of 2016 China Trademark Festival was held in Kunshan Jinlin Hotel. Deputy Director-General of WIPO delivered the closing speech. In the award ceremony afterwards, together with 61 others including Provincial Administration of Industry and Commerce of Jiangsu, Provincial Administration of Industry and Commerce of Sichuan, our agency was awarded “2016 China Trademark Festival Contribution Award”. We were given 4 awards in the 2016 Trademark Festival, including Leading Figure for Trademark,Trademark case for the year of 2015 to 2016, 2016 China Trademark Festival Contribution Award and gave 3 speeches.

In the afternoon of October 30, 2016, in the 2016 China Trademark Festival, on the margin of Demonstration of Oral Hearing on Trademark Reviews, TRAB invited 12 renowned agencies in China to have a forum. It was hosted by Zhao Gang, Chairman of TRAB. Feng Zhaolong, Vice Chairman of TRAB and heads of important divisions attended the forum. Yang Yonggang, Chairman of our agency was invited to the forum and gave a speech.

In the morning of October 30, 2016, co-sponsored by our company, one of the important sub-forum——“forum on trademark examination practice in the trademark office”, was held in the convention and exhibition center of Kunshan, Jiangsu. More than 200 representatives of administrative and judicial organs, enterprises, research institutes and IP agencies attended this forum. Chen Kui, director of China Trademark Office’s general office, Huang Li, director of its 4^th examination office, Li Zheng, director of its GI office, Fan Yali, deputy director of its 1^st examination office, and Yao Yong, principal staff of its 4^th examination office, and Lu peng, IP director of Schneider Electric’s China and SEA areas, Wu Huinan, deputy general manager of Guangzhou Wanglaoji Health Industry Co., Ltd. and our president Yang Yonggang had excellent communication with the audience.

In the morning of October 29, 2016, the awarding result for the high-profile “Trademark case for the year of 2015 to 2016 “was announce in the 8th Trademark Festival, following last year’s winning the award with the HAIKOU case, this year with trademark case of “Ye Wen&device”, we were awarded the prize again. The case involved in Ye Wen,Bruce Lee’s master and Ye Wen, a hit film starring Donnie Yen. The case had a great social impact and received wide attention from media and various sector. Son of Ye Wen entrusted us on the case and we are successful in this case.

In the evening of October 27, 2016, in the ceremony of China Trademark Festival Awards Ceremony hosted by the producer of CCTV program Dialogue, Liu Xing. Mr. Yang was awarded “Leading Figure for Trademark 2016” by CTA, recognizing his exceptional contribution on implementation of branding strategy and branding. 46 people were awarded “Leading Figure for Trademark 2016”, they are from companies such as Quan Ju De, SINOPEC, FAW, Evergrande, Schneider, SINOCHEM or trademark agencies. It is a milestone that for the first time CTA awarded the Leading Figure for Trademark.

In the afternoon of October 27,2016,before the grand opening of 2016 China Trademark Festival, on the 6th meeting of the 3rd Council meeting, Yang Yonggang as representative for agencies, delivered an important speech.

On October 10-15,2016, the renew election meeting of National People's Congress and Chinese People's Political Consultative Congress (CPPCC) of Yuncheng City was held, it is the most important political event that is held every five years. Yang Yonggang, Chairman of our agency was elected as member of 4th CPPCC Committee of Yuncheng, member of the Bureau of the Fifth Committee. In October 14, he was elected as CPPCC Standing Committee Member of Yuncheng, Shanxi Province with high vote.

In the afternoon of September 19, 2016, symposium held by the State Administration of Industry and Commerce of the P.R.C, at which it heard comments of more than 10 experts, academics and representative of enterprises about SAIC Opinion on Brand Development Strategy (Draft for Public Comments), Liu Junchen, Deputy Director of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the P.R.C(SAIC) attended the forum and delivered a speech. Yang Yonggang of our agency was invited to speak at the meeting.

August 25-27, 2016, meeting on the theme of “forum on work in fixed-point poverty alleviation” was held under the auspices of Director of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the P.R.C(SAIC) in Heilongjiang Province, Fuyuan City. Representatives from COFCO, Citic, Alibaba, JD, Evergrande, many well-known local enterprises and goverment department took part in the meeting. Chairman of our agency Yang Yonggang was invited as one of the three lecturers in forum on Fuyuan, Tongjiang, Taihe poverty alleviation and Trademark held by office of SAIC, we are honored to undertake the task of China’s first time for poverty reduction through trademark and brand.

August 12-13, 2016, attorney of our agency took part in training workshop for trademark examination, review and litigation practice 2016 hosted by CTA in Yinchuan.

August 7, 2016, at the 2nd meeting of the Members Committee of Shanxi Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong held in Guangdong Shanxi Building, our agency was elected as Vice Chairman of Shanxi Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong, General Manager Yang Yongyang attended the meeting.

July 23, 2016, invited by Yuncheng municipal Party committee and Yuncheng government, together with 60 representatives from all over the world that are born in Yuncheng, General Manager Yang Yonggang attended a talk with the theme “ Love for hometown, construction and development of hometown”.

On July 7-8, 2016, representing Shanxi Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong, General Manager Yang Yonggang attended series of Shanxi merchant meetings and made speeches including: Economic cooperation between Shanxi merchant in Langfang City, Economic Cooperation for Shanxi Chamber of commerce, Inauguration Ceremony for Shanxi Chamber of Commerce in Langfang, 2016 Shanxi Merchant Summit on synergistic development of Beijing, Tianjin and Shandong &Inaugural Ceremony of Beijing, Tianjin and Shandong Union Shanxi Chamber of Commerce. The meetings were attended by: leaders of Langfang municipal Party committee and Langfang government, Hebei Federation of Industry and Commerce, Shanxi Federation of Industry and Commerce, more than 300 representatives, including Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary-General from Shanxi Chamber of Commerce all over the world, including Canada, Russia, Mongolia, Guangdong Province, Beijing, Tianjin, Shandong.

On June 30, 2016, CTA hosted a meeting on business interaction for council members, inviting experts from TMO, TRAB and Trademark Examination Cooperation Center to have discussion with council members in the meeting, attorney of our agency attended the meeting.

On June 23, 2016, hosted by China Intellectual Property Law Association, organized by Southwest University of Political Science & Law, 2016 Annual Meeting of China Intellectual Property Law Association was hosted in Chongqing. The meeting was moderated by Liu Chuntian, Chairman of China Intellectual Property Law Association and professor in Renmin University of China, the meeting was attended by: Chen Hongbin, Director WIPO Beijing Office, Wang Chuan, Vice President of No.3 Tribunal of the Supreme People’s Court, Fu Zitang, Principal of Southwest University of Political Science & Law and more than 500 experts on intellectual property law from universities, research institutes, court and well-known enterprises. General Manage Yang Yonggang attended the meeting.

On June 23-24, 2016, attorney of our agency took part in training workshop for high-talents on enterprise brand management hosted by CTA and organized by Zhongqi Trademark Evaluation Center in Chongqing.

On May 12, 2016, General Manager Yang Yongang was invited to attend Forum of Trademark Administrative Enforcement and Judicial Protection, Liu Junchen, Deputy Director of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the P.R.C(SAIC) attended the forum and deliver a speech. The forum was also attended by: leaders of the Office of Leading Group of the National Campaign Against IPR Infringements and Counterfeits,the Supreme People’s Court, Supreme People's Procuratorate, Ministry of Public Security, General Administration of Customs, SAIC, representatives from Quality Brands Protection Committee (QBPC) of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment and other experts, academics.

On April 21, 2016, Deputy Manager Dongyunhai was invited to attend a training workshop on trademark examination, review and litigation.

On April 18, 2016, General Manager Yang Yongang was invited to attend and made an important speech in a meeting of experts and enterprise professionals host by the State Administration of Industry and Commerce of the P.R.C.

On March 29, 2016, Under-Secretary-General of CTA visited our agency, gave guidance to our work and listen to the management’s comment on trademark practice.

On March 26, 2016, General Manager Yang Yonggang was invited to attend to Guangdong Intellectual Property Practice Salon hosted by the Guangdong Professional Managers in Law Association in Guangdong Liby Center, Zhang Xuejun, Vice President of Intellectual Property Tribunal of Guangdong High Court made an important speech.

On March 10-11, 2016, attorney of our agency took part in Training Workshop for high-tablents on enterprise brand management hosted by CTA in Xiamen.

On March 2016, approved by Beijing Municipal Office,State Administration of Taxation , Beijing Huangjinzhihui Intellectual Property Agency Ltd. is general taxer payer that is entitled to issue VAT special invoice.

On January 16, 2016, our agency was awarded “Model enterprise for Characteristic Industries and Geographical Indications Industry”recognizing our outstanding contributions to the development of Chinese Characteristic Industry and Geographic Indication Industry in 2015.

January 16, 2016, Yang Yonggang was awarded “Role Model for Chinese Characteristic Industry and Geographic Indication Industry”by organizing committee of Chinese Characteristic Culture Festival and Professional committee for Chinese SME Association of Geographical Indication Product recognizing his outstanding contributions to the development of Chinese Characteristic Industry and Geographic Indication Industry in 2015.
